Nowadays a lots of internet pages suggest antique clocks for sale. In the XXI century not only rich people may buy it but it became also an avocation of usual people.

On the bridge of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries mantelpiece and room clocks began usually to be found. They were created of iron and were wound with the assistance of weight. The layout and elements were similar to average tower clocks the same as the appearance.

People applied wall's consoles to put in clocks in the fifteenth century. Years later timber console became the element of the clocks' body. The style of it corresponded to the whole design of the clock. Indoor clocks played a significant role in the furniture of a room. They were a part of the entire decoration composition where all the particulars had to be done due to the dominating fashion of the age. Later on professional clock masters appeared. Such people as Roentgen, Goutier and Benemann began to work over the appearance of their clocks. Their clocks were really marvelous and there were no analogs in the world. In the XVIII century appeared clockmakers that began to create remakes from the most wonderful clocks they found.
